Mobility Founders was founded in January 2016, with an initial investment by Rent a Car, the French leader of proximity car rental. Together we decided to tackle two of the dynamics currently at stake in the mobility industry: the digitization of traditional mobility players, as Uber did for the taxi-calling business, and the creation of new mobility services alongside the ongoing revolution of the mobility industry, as BlablaCar did by inventing the long-distance ride sharing.

More than just an investor, an established company like Rent a Car provides us with an extensive expertise in the industry as well as an access to a network of partners and customers close to whom we can create our products in order to always fit the market’s need perfectly, applying a lean methodology.

So far Mobility Founders has launched 4 startups: CarMoov, Pricemoov, Zeloce and Labacar. CarMoov provides to any owner of a fleet of cars the technology and software necessary to provide car-sharing solutions. Pricemoov is an innovative yield management solution whose algorithms help the user in making and applying a relevant pricing decision. Zeloce connects professional transporters and customers of big retailers together to transport heavy goods to their destination, and Labacar is an agile software development company specialized in digital transformation.
